Midway through the first quarter against Maryland, Wilson ran a vertical route up the seam and was thrown the ball by QB J.J. McCarthy. Wilson caught the ball but was hit in the upper body and head area by Terrapins safety Dante Trader Jr. A flag was thrown for targeting, but an official review overturned the penalty.
Wilson immediately departed the field and went to the medical tent. The next time we saw him, he was out of his uniform and was shut down for the day with a possible concussion.
We’ll continue to update this section with any further updates.
