It’s a running joke among K-pop fans that “this idol and that idol look like they could be siblings!”- Yeji from ITZY and Hyunjin from Stray Kids are two excellent instances of this fanbase movement.
The two celebrities are referred to as “the Hwang twins” or “the Hwang siblings.” They are undoubtedly unrelated, however.
They only belong to the fan-made group known as the “power siblings.”
The two symbols are quite similar in many ways, including their same last name (Hwang), clan (or bonkwan), birth year (2000), and facial traits.
Additionally, both are handled by JYP Entertainment, the same organization.
According to Soompi, which ranks them as one of the “7 K-Pop Idol Pairs Who Could Be Mistook for Siblings,” the two idols fascinate audiences with their seductive cat-like eyes and well-defined features.
They are not, however, biological siblings. They are just K-pop business pals and coworkers. Yeji Hyunjin’s “sister from another mother” is what we may term her.
Hyunjin is the sole kid in his family, as noted by Korea Boo; he has no siblings!
Yeji and Hyunjin have bonded through some adorably cute moments, such as when they were both serving as the MCs for the same production.
Every small thing was noted by the audience, even the moment Hyunjin handed Yeji a water bottle before taking one for himself.
