American city of Nashville, Tennessee, is the place of Shooter Jennings’ birth. His parents, Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter, were both legendary personalities in the music business.
His early years were spent in a bus’ cradle, and artists like Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, and Johnny Cash played music around him constantly. Shooter didn’t start playing the drums until he was 5 years old, most likely because of this. He began learning the piano when he was eight years old, and he picked up the instrument when he was fourteen.
When he was a student in high school, he founded the rock band “KilRaven.” In 1996, Shooter and his father made their first record together. In 2011, he published the album “Missed The Boat” along with the Kilraven song “Only You.” The “Fenixon” record was never issued because a distributor couldn’t be found. 2014 saw the complete publication of “Fenixon” by The “Black Country Rock” of Shooter.
