Sheppard made his television debut on “Theatre Night.” Then, in 1962, he played a minor role in the film “Strongroom.” Sheppard also has an appearance in the 1967 movie “Marat/Sade.” He also played the Landlord in the television series “The Expert.”
He appeared in “The Roses of Eyam” as William Hancock in 1973, and he also had a small role in “The Up and Down, in and Out, and Round About Man.” Since then, he has been in numerous other movies and television programs. In total, he has over 180 acting credits.
Sheppard has also made appearances in other movies and TV shows, such as “The Librarians,” “Last Man Club,” “Free Birds,” “April Apocalypse,” “The Devil’s Dozen,” “Young Justice,” “The AOF Channel,” “Meeting Spencer,” “For Christ’s Sake,” “Mysterious Island,” and “Farewell Mr.
Additionally, he made an appearance in an Aldwych Theatre production of “US” by the Royal Shakespeare Company. Sheppard received the Action on Film Award in 2016 for his performance in “The Last Man Club.” The Lifetime Achievement Award has also been given to him. At WorldFest Houston in 2016, he also won the Gold Remi Award for “Last Man Club.”
