Christine began performing in the band Sound Blue after being approached by friends. She has multiple opportunity to perform with well-known vocalists such as Spencer Davis. It was during her undergraduate years that she decided to leave the band and pursue a career as an art teacher or lecturer, for which she relocated to London. She began playing the piano with her pals and was also a background vocalist in It’s Ok With Me Baby.
She collaborated on two pieces with Shack, including I’d rather go blind and became engaged to John McVie, one of the most prominent violinists of the period, and married him in 1968 and quickly rose to prominence among vocalists. In the year 1974, she relocated to the United States of America. Many popular songs were written during her time with Fleetwood Mac. Another significant achievement was her induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.
