After Blake Shelton retired from the show, there was an obvious vacancy to fill. While the judges often rotate from season to season, Blake had been in 23 seasons. The replacement would surely need to be someone of equal star power.

So, NBC managed to convince none other than Reba McEntire to fill the gap. Another country star, she definitely has the celebrity status to draw attention.

Reba is a double threat, finding success in both music and acting. The icon has had over 100 singles hit the Billboard Hot Country charts and sold more than 75 million records. She's a seasoned veteran in the music industry, decorated with plenty of awards including seven recognitions for Academy of Country Music's Top Female Vocalist Awards.

John is a singer-songwriter who built his career behind-the-scenes, supporting other musicians, until catapulting into the definite spotlight in 2013 with his song "All of Me." She is pop music royalty, for sure. Gwen started her career in the music group No Doubt before splitting off on her own solo journey. In the early 2000s, she became a household name and solidified her role in music history.
