In terms of her professional life, she is a well-known Nigerian medical practitioner, public speaker, digital influencer, entrepreneur, and advocate for women’s empowerment. She is most recognized for founding “House of Adanna,” a community platform that promotes and encourages women.
Furthermore, in October 2017, she launched and became CEO of Medics Abroad, an international business that provides logistics for clinical placements in Africa to doctors from all over the world.
She transitioned from clinical medicine to entrepreneurship in order to have a worldwide influence. She currently manages her ‘House of Adanna,’ with an aim to empower women through social media, and has a network of approximately 1 million members.
Also she is a social media influencer who shot to prominence in 2014 after a 15-second Instagram video of her and her husband dancing to Afrobeats music in their kitchen went viral. She and her spouse were also featured in the BBC Newsbeat programme YouTube Couples: How to Stay in Love in 2018.
She has also been a fantastic speaker at a number of major gatherings, including the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting, the United Nations Climate Change Conference, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Goalkeepers Initiative.
