Elizabeth Ingram and Alton Brown first met as clients and service providers. Alton Brown’s friend was one of Elizabeth’s restaurant-based customers, and they attempted to express Alton’s message of gratitude for her work around 2016.
But Elizabeth Ingram, a well-known interior designer, had no idea who he was at the time. Alton, who had purchased a corner-unit apartment in Marietta, Georgia, enlisted her help in renovating and decorating it.
In the summer of 2017, the pair began their seven-month renovation and began their professional relationship. Alton Brown got down on one knee to propose to Elizabeth in April of 2018 after their relationship had grown significantly.
And, of course, Elizabeth enthusiastically accepted his plan. On September 29, 2019, the engaged couple married during a weekend wedding on a cruise in Charleston, South Carolina. Previously, before their divorce in 2015, the celebrity chef was married to Deanna Brown. From his marriage, he has a daughter named Zoey Brown.
