Yasmin Vossoughian is of Armenian descent, and she grew up in a little hamlet about an hour north of New York City. Despite her American roots, Yasmin’s Iranian lineage enriches her identity. She embarked on a career that would take her from E! Entertainment TV in New York to Gallup’s worldwide poll reporter in Washington, D.C. Her employment forced her to travel widely, covering stories from all over the world and bringing attention to issues. It addressed everything from the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to African healthcare challenges and Singapore’s environmental protection.
