The Butler Bulldogs’ coach, Thad Matt, and his wife, Barbara, have two adult children, Ali and Emily Matta. Both of their daughters attended Butler University. Ali Matta, the oldest daughter, was born in 1999 and works at Complete Sports Management as a marketing and operations manager.
She was in charge of the Bahamas Bowl and the inaugural Crossover Classic event. Before joining CS Management, she lived in Barcelona, Spain. Emily, Thad, and Barbara’s youngest child was born in 2001 and will graduate in 2023 with a degree in Strategic Communication (PR and Advertising).
According to her LinkedIn profile, she works as a creative assistant at Brown Capital Group (August 2023-present). She formerly worked part-time at Hotel Broad Ripple as a social media and hotel receptionist.
