It’s 2018, The 6ABC meteorologist graced the cover of Real Woman magazine. The Capital Health publication is distributed in New Jersey as well as the Philadelphia suburbs. In the article, Cecily discussed when her teenage self first fell in love with TV reporting, what it feels like when predicting the weather, her love, and passion for running as well as how she has been body-shamed.“The body-shaming thing is crazy,” she told Real Woman.
After she ran the Broad Street Run in 62 minutes, in the best shape of her life, somebody told her that she looked sickly. Cecily couldn’t imagine saying to someone, ‘You’re too skinny’ or ‘I don’t like your dress.’” This was not the first time she voiced her frustrations about comments she gets about her appearance. In January, Cecily took it to her Facebook page after someone told her that her on-air attire was “unprofessional.” She also shared a screenshot of a comment she got that stated, “Eat a hoagie Cecily ur [sic] too thin!!!!”
