Olivia refused to blame her breakup with Matt on Jessup. According to The Daily Mail, she stated:
“I believe that our marriage would have ended eventually, but it ended sooner due to disease, which was a wonderful thing. Although it was hard, we never disagreed. Matt stopped acting and is now a marijuana farmer in Oregon.
After playing Cooper Hart in the Australian soap series Paradise Beach, Matt Lattanzi gave up acting. Although Lattanzi had roles in plays like Xanadu and My Tutor, his acting career had not taken off. He was a contractor for a California house construction company when he went on the Paradise Beach casting call for his part.
After his divorce from Newton-John, Lattanzi retreated from the spotlight. He allegedly resided off the grid close to Malibu, California, around 2008. Laughing Dog Farms, a medicinal marijuana farm in Oregon, is now run by Matt.
One of the main impetuses for creating the farm was the discovery of his wife’s colon cancer. The family and Matt’s wife, Michelle, valued marijuana use for its therapeutic properties.
In 2016, Lattanzi established the farming business after purchasing the 115-acre property. Along with Michelle, Michelle’s sister Olivia, Chloe Lattanzi’s husband James Driskill, and his nephew Brock Binder, he manages the farm. Newton-John fervently lobbied for improved patient access to medicine and supported the use of medical marijuana by cancer sufferers.
Lattanzi divorced Cindy Jessup in 2007 and then wed Michelle. After Matt Lattanzi’s breakup with Newton-John, Cindy Jessup and he got married two years later. According to rumors, Olivia had no issues with Lattanzi marrying Cindy because her relationship with Matt had ended years before their breakup.
Olivia expressed her happiness at her and Matt’s decision to maintain good relations with their daughter. Newton-John said that she favored a happy conclusion:

In 2007, Cindy Jessup and Matt Lattanzi divorced after ten years of marriage. After marrying businessman John Easterling, Olivia received the happily ever after she yearned for a year later. Olivia gushed,

When Matt and Michelle got married is unknown. Michelle shared a touching tribute to the amazing star on Facebook after Olivia passed away. The memorial stated:
