As already mentioned, William and Mare share five amazing children. The former pair welcomed their first baby, Riley Mapel, on 7 November 1981. Afterward, their other children, Patrick Mapel, Jack Mapel, Calla Louise Maple, and Happy Atticus Mapel, arrived in 1983,1985, and 1988, respectively. Unfortunately, the Mapel-Winningham couple’s eldest son, Riley, died of suicide on 14 August 2005.
On the other hand, Mare Winningham’s son, Patrick, has marked his name as an actor and is known for his work in The Social Network, The Artist, etc. In addition, he has credits for writing, directing, and producing the movie Valley of the Moon. In contrast, William’s other kids, Jack, Happy Atticus, and Calla Louise, prefer a private life. Let’s hope they have achieved their dream and are living peacefully with their loved ones.
Altogether, Mare Winningham’s ex-husband once worked as a technical advisor. The former carnival worker met the actress on the set of the only movie he worked on.
