Leeteuk was discovered by a talent scout while on vacation with his sister in early 2000, and was urged to test for SM Entertainment.
He was chosen as a trainee after multiple test recordings and performances. Following that, he appeared in the MBC drama ‘All About Eve’ in an uncredited part. He also worked as a model for Pepsi for a long period.
Leeteuk made his debut with the 12-member boy band Super Junior 5 in 2005. The group was an instant hit, and a year later, the group was renamed Super Junior after the addition of a 13th member.
‘Twins’ (2005), ‘Don’t Run’ (2007), ‘Sorry, Sorry’ (2009), ‘Bonamana’ (2010), and ‘Mr. Devil’ (2011) are among the group’s nine albums (2015). In addition, the 37-year-old is a member of the Super junior-H and Super junior-T divisions.

Leeteuk has also established himself as a prominent television host and MC throughout the years. He hosted the SBS shows “Star King” and “Strong Heart.” He took over as the new MC for MBC’s ‘Enjoy Today’ in 2010, replacing previous presenter Big Bang’s Seungri.
Leeteuk and Eunhyuk co-hosted KBS Super Junior’s ‘Kiss The Radio’ from 2006 until 2011. In 2016, he returned to it as a guest. Leeteuk has also appeared in cameo roles in a number of Korean dramas, including ‘Nonstop’ (2006), ‘Dream High’ (2011), and ‘Salamander Guru and the Shadows’ (2012).
