The Canadian-American sports analyst will be 67 years old in 2023 since he was born in 1956.
He was raised on a farm outside of Kelvington, Saskatchewan, where he was born to Norrie and James Melrose.
Wendel Clark, Joe Kocur, Kerry Clark, a forward in the minor league, and other former NHL players are his relatives.
Tyrell and Adrien are the names of Melrose’s two boys, who now live with him and his wife, Cindy, in Glens Falls, New York. He was naturalized as an American in March 1998.
Melrose has been in supporting parts in both movies and television shows in addition to hockey.
He appeared as a special guest in the episode “Hey Judith” of Spin City’s fifth season.
