He is Thomas Gustin and Tina Haney’s son. In addition to being a teacher at Virginia Beach’s ECPI University, his mother Tina practices pediatric nursing.
Conversely, his father Thomas is an academician who joined the faculty of the same college where his wife teaches in February 2017. From January 2016 to February 2017, he worked as an adjunct faculty member at ECPI for more than a year.
Thomas served in a variety of capacities at Bryant & Stratton College for more than six years, including adjunct instructor and faculty member, before joining ECPI. Gustin also worked as the sales manager for Virginia Stage Company from September 2005 to May 2010.
