Trevor began his career as a digital content producer for Fox Sports, where he created material for their digital website and covered the Minnesota Vikings throughout training camp, matches, and recruitments. He was only there for a month before starting his first position as a reporter in 2013 at WTOL. Ault served as a fill-in anchor as well as a content producer, reporting daily short stories on the morning broadcast. In 2015, he was promoted to the position of morning anchor and reporter. He left the job after a few months and joined KOIN-TV in 2016 as a breaking news reporter.
By 2018, he had been appointed to Weekend Evening Anchor for the channel, although he quit after only a year. Trevor joined ABC in 2019 as the Multi-Platform Reporter. He began appearing on shows such as Nightline and has been actively covering the Covid-19 problem. Ault was just upgraded to the channel’s 2020 reporter and tasked to cover the elections from Washington, DC. On weekends, he will co-anchor “Good Morning America” with Eva Pilgrim and Dan Harris.
