People are helping to spread the rumor that the player has died, even though he is still alive and well. But those reports aren’t true because he is alive and well.
Joshua Dobbs, quarterback for the Tennessee Titans, got a call while he was on his way back to Atlanta to spend Christmas Eve with his family. When Dobbs picked up the phone, Pat O’Hara was the Titans’ quarterbacks coach. Can you please come in tomorrow? Said, O’Hara. “We want to talk about the plan. I just want you to look at this stuff as soon as possible.”
Dobbs spent Christmas morning at home. Later that day, he turned around and went back to the Titans’ building. Dobbs’ best Christmas present was finding out that he would start against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 17.
