Tasya van Ree has built a reputation for herself in the art and photography worlds, where she is well-known for her black-and-white photographs, which she refers to as “surreal visuals.” She has photographed celebrities such as Michelle Rodriguez, Katherine Moennig, and Matt Dallas.
Van Ree, together with other well-known photographers, organized her first art exhibition in LA’s Celebrity Vault in 2010. She held a solo photographic exhibition after a year. Her 2014 show, A State of Mind & Affairs of its Games, was well-received by audiences, introducing her to a wider audience.
In addition to photography, van Ree creates short films and other works of art such as paintings and pencil drawings. She also designed T-shirts, which she refers to as “DieWilder” and frequently wears in public. Tasya has referred to her former beau, Amber Heard, as her main inspiration in various interviews.
