Tennis fans who follow the ATP know that Taro Daniel consistently improves his stats after each match. However, little is known about the young tennis pro’s ethnicity and religion.
In relation to Daniel’s ancestry, his late mother was Japanese. He also lived with his mother in Saitama, Japan, during his formative years.
In addition, the father of the player is American. Taro was born in New York, but his family later relocated to Spain. The tennis pro speaks English, Japanese, and Spanish with ease.
Daniel isn’t very interested in sharing his religious views in public, though, since he seems to be more concerned with his future bouts. However, a few web sources assert that he is a Christian.
Daniel’s family encouraged him to pursue a career in athletics and supported his love of tennis. He started playing tennis when he was 7 years old.
The player showed early promise in the U-12 category tournament by placing third. He received his training at the Shinrin Longwood Tennis Club in Nagoya City, Japan.
He made a big impression on the tennis scene in 2014 and beat well-known players to advance to the Australian Open third qualifying round.
At the Miami Open, Daniel kept up his winning ways by defeating Alexander Zverev and Arthur Rinderknech to get to the third round.
