Even if you haven't been a big fan of the previous DC games, you will still be able to dive right into Kill the Justice League without ever having played the Batman: Arkham games. Though they're set in the same universe, they are entirely original storylines that are not directly connected to each other.

There are likely to be easter eggs in the upcoming title that will be fun for fans of Arkham Asylum to catch (and even an appearance from Batman himself), though players should be able to dive into this upcoming title headfirst, even if it's their first DC video game.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on May 26, 2023.
