On January 22, 1965, in Cleveland, Ohio, Michael Coletti became Steven Adler. His mother, Deanna, is a Jewish American, and his father, an Italian American, make up his mixed-race family.
Kenny and Jamie, his younger brother, are Steven’s two brothers. When he attended Bancroft Junior High School, he had a strong bond with Slash, another musical icon. When Adler started playing the drums in high school, everything in his life took a dramatic change. Adler developed a passion for music, and who could have predicted that a legend would soon be born.
