Sinuhe and Camila had a difficult time getting from Cuba to America. They only had each other and a single backpack. Camila was dressed in a lovely pink frock that her mother had purchased at a flea market. She was carrying a Winnie the Pooh diary as well as a blond plastic doll. The mother and daughter had a difficult voyage through Mexico, as the bus stopped at several locations. When they received the signal to cross the border at an immigration center in the United States, all of their exhaustion vanished.
