The former pair also worked on a project, and Joel co-wrote Jorja’s song The One.
An online report showed that Smith and Compass began their romantic affair in September 2017. It remains unclear when and how the pair met each other.
Jorja and Joel dated each other but kept their personal matters to themselves rather than sharing the information with the tabloids.
Once, the news of their engagement also came into the media. However, it was not confirmed.
Meanwhile, Smith and Compass parted in 2019, and Jorja confirmed their split on Instagram.
