Mari Gilbert, Sherre Gilbert’s mother, was murdered by Sarra Gilbert, Sherre’s sister. Sarra, Sherre’s sister, killed her mother while Sherre was still grieving over her sister’s passing. Mari must have endured a painful death because Sarra stabbed her 227 times to death.
Sarra hit Mari, her mother, with the fire extinguisher as well. On July 23, 2016, the day Corbin Bleu wed Sasha Clements, this horrifying incident took place.
Sarra has had mental health issues for a very long time. There are a lot of well-liked theories about why she killed Mari. One common explanation is that she had mental health issues and didn’t know what she was doing. Another common one is that she harbored resentment toward her mother because of how she had treated her in the past.
Another plausible tale concerns an earlier incident in which Sarra killed someone. According to the Daily Freeman, Sarra was detained for drowning a dog, thus it was a puppy. Mari was the one who arrested her and took custody of her son at the moment. Some people are certain that she killed her mother in retaliation.
