Scott Coker entered the world on October 3, 1962, in Seoul. During his initial nine years of existence, he resided in Seoul. His Korean mother was a member of the USO society as a singer.
By his ancestry from the state of Tennessee, his father claimed American ancestry. He made a fleeting visit to Korea following the Korean War. Both of his parents entered into matrimony in December 1959. Young Scott was nine years old when his family immigrated to the United States.
They made their way to San Jose, California, around 1973. He has American ancestry. Scott Coker stated in an interview that his lack of connection to his native country and language has rendered him practically destitute. Additionally, he asserts that Korean cuisine and food consistently captivate him.
