Ryan Salame, a former co-CEO of FTX, suggested that Sam Bankman-Fried could have handled customers’ funds improperly.
Days before the company filed for bankruptcy, the FTX insider alerted authorities to possible wrongdoing. Just before the Company filed for bankruptcy, he raised concerns about suspected asset mismanagement for the Client.
Before returning to the United States, he also warned Bahamians about the possible scam. Only three of the FTX’s top members have the authorization to transfer assets, he informed the Bahamas’ regulators.
Salame appears to have maintained his safety by working with the authorities.
