His Father decided to give him the name Robert so that it would be easier for him when moving to another country as a professional footballer.
Apart from guiding his early career, Robert Lewandowski’s Father used to play local hand games with him. He used to take the young Robert to Partyzant Leszno training sessions.
Afterward, he left Varsovia and joined the Delta Warsaw club, where he finally got to play in the first team.

The soccer player’s mother is a former volleyball player for AZS Warsaw. She has also served as vice president of Partyzant Leszno.
As for his religion, Robert Lewandowski has faith in Catholicism.
