Dowdell’s grandmother is the one who has been sharing information regarding the case; Annette Allen revealed that they were at a birthday party before everyone was shot.
Allen mentioned that Dowdell’s mother was also the one who was injured during the incident. “Everybody’s grieving,” Allen said.
Allen said she had close bonding with his grandson; they often spent time together whenever Phil was free from his game or training. It was reported that the incident occurred at around 10:30 pm on Saturday.
Although the police have not yet disclosed any information about a suspect in the shooting that took the life of Phil and three others, they have reassured the community that there is no cause for alarm or worry about any particular person at this time.
Everyone hopes to find the suspect as soon as possible; viewers are curious to learn the motive behind the incident.
No one believed that the shooter was related to Dowell’s family; they didn’t look familiar and asked who was at the party.
The community has been sending prayers and condolence to Dowell’s family and all three who were shoot along with the football player Phil.
The mayor of Dadeville, Frank Goodman, described the situation at a nearby hospital as chaotic following the mass shooting at a dance studio in the city.
He stated that many people were running around, crying, and screaming in distress. The area was filled with police cars and ambulances, and people were anxious to get information about their loved ones.
The mayor also mentioned that such an incident had never happened in their city, and the situation was unprecedented.
