In 1999, Tyrone joined a small group of deaf and hearing actors to launch his performing career. He worked as a chorus member in The Miracle Worker on the Arena Stage for his first professional position. He joined Deaf West Theatre’s summer school program in 2001 and was subsequently chosen for the lead role of “Huckleberry Finn” in the Los Angeles-based play Big River.

After that, Giordano made his movie debut in The Family Stone as a deaf and homosexual member of the family of the same name. He played the deaf brother of Ashton Kutcher’s character in the movie A Lot Like Love that same year. Giordano additionally starred alongside Diane Lane in Untraceable in 2008 and Russell Crowe in The Next Three Days in 2010.

Additionally, he has appeared in episodes of the TV shows CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Girlfriends. He performed in Edward Albee’s At Home at the Zoo at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Arts in 2017.
