In a chat with Legit.ng, Etinosa Idemudia said the feedback from ' A Tribe Called Judah' is humbling but not surprising.

She said:

"I'm super grateful to Nigerians for watching and loving our movie. The feedback is humbling yet not surprising because we put in our best. Right from story to execution, every team member brought in their a game and of course, the directors, mama Judah Funke Akindele and Mr Owu did such intentional and amazing work with the script. I feel like a billion boxes right now.

Speaking on what gave the movie an edge over others. She said the storyline was good and the actor performed wonderfully.

"I will say first that a story is king. Aunty Funke is so good with stories.  I know a few people have spoken against the movie, but it is their opinion. I am sure the producer and directors will take some of the criticism and note it because of the next production. Another thing would be the realistic nature of the film, the actor's performance, and how well the audience was able to relate to the film. A well-executed film about a mother's love, Wow, who wouldn't fall deeply in love with it? A good film sells itself. This film got me so much in my feelings because apart from my mother, it reminds me of my father and how much he loved and sacrificed for us. And how I would have done anything for him to beat the illness that took him away."
