Olivia Thirlby, a 36-year-old actress, was born in New York, USA (October 6, 1986). She is the daughter of an advertising executive and a contractor. Her parents’ names, however, are unknown. Her mother had Jewish ancestors.
As a result, she is of Ashkenazi-Jewish and English descent. She is, however, an American citizen. Thirlby grew up in the East Village of Manhattan. Zoe Kravitz is her best friend.
Education
She attended and graduated from Friends Seminary in the city’s Gramercy neighborhood. Also, she also attended the French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts in upstate New York, as well as the Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts (also attended by Natalie Portman and Mariah Carey).
She also studied at the American Globe Theatre and briefly at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, and she completed a stage combat course.
