When she was a teenager, the reality TV star married her first spouse. She married her then-boyfriend in an elopement. However, the marriage did not last and the couple divorced. Stanley met another man soon after their divorce.
Her relationship with her second husband did not endure long either. Her children are the only benefit of her two unsuccessful relationships. From her first two marriages, she has seven children: Heath, Albert, Huey, Destiny, Chasity, Sheila, and Kat.
Her family, like her, failed love, is far from flawless. In 2004, her mother, Lottie Mae Stanley, was charged with bank fraud. Not only that but she and her husband Aaron Telke were arrested for kidnapping their 5-year-old and 7-year-old grandson.
In addition, her sister Joann Wells was arrested for $10,000 for a swindle. Furthermore, her other sister, Mellie Stanley, is a stripper, which Nettie despises.
Rocky, her stepson, was also stabbed to death after a basketball game. She is currently living as a housewife after her show was canceled owing to low ratings. Despite this, Nettie enjoys her life with her husband and children.
