In an unexpected turn of events, Nashon Jones, surrendered voluntarily on Thursday morning to face charges of a crime committed while incarcerated in 2021.
The allegations stem from his alleged exposure to a prison official while incarcerated, which adds another degree of complication to his current legal issues involving drug and firearms offenses.
Nashon Jones Brazy rose to prominence not just because of his musical endeavors but also because of a tragic episode involving the death of his grandparents, Tony and Leila Lewis.
In February 2021, the pair were the victims of a gunshot and fire at their home, which was related to a Facebook quarrel.
Earlier reports stated that four individuals had been arrested: Patrick Lewis, Terrance Watkins, Darrin Southall, and Jamarcus Chambers.
The prosecution claimed that the terrible event was caused by a Facebook post by Jones’ acquaintance, OMB Peezy, who was also a rapper.
The state alleged that the tweet enraged Watkins, making him feel degraded and causing him to devise a retaliatory strategy. As a means of inflicting mental injury on Jones, the Lewis’ home became a target.
Watkins, Southall, and Chambers were named as the people who allegedly carried out the plot at Lewis’ house.
Meanwhile, according to previous reports, Patrick Lewis, unrelated to the victims, was regarded as an “aider and abettor” in the case.
As the legal proceedings progress, the rapper’s life is marked by intricate and complex chapters.
