Nancy Travis made her Hollywood debut in 1985 with Malice in Wonderful, a historical film based on the novel Hedda and Louella: A Dual Biography of Hedda Hopper and Louella Parsons, written by Nancy Travis. Travis made her debut TV appearance the following year in Spenser: For Hire, based on Robert B. Parker’s Spenser novel.

Travis made his cinematic debut in the 1987 comedy Three Men and a Baby, directed by Leonardo Nimoy, and then reprised his role in the sequel Three Men and a Little Lady. Her performance was praised by both fans and reviewers. She went on to star in films such as Fluke, Safe Harbor, The Pregnancy Pact, Squatters, and The Submarine Kid.

Travis has also been in a number of television shows, including Fallen Angels, Work with Me, Medium, Hart of Dixie, and Mr. Mercedes. She starred alongside Tim Allen, Molly Ephraim, Kaitlyn Dever, Amanda Fuller, and Hector Elizondo in the TV sitcom The Last Man Standing in 2011.

Her 2018 acting credits include Rachel in the film Married Young and Lisa in Chuck Lorre’s series The Kominsky Method. The Kominske Method is a Netflix original series.
