Jesse Money rose to prominence as the only child of Eddie Money, a well-known vocalist, and instrumentalist. After college, she began working as a background vocalist for her father’s and brother Desmond’s band. She made her television debut in 2008 on the music show Rock the Cradle, but she was eliminated in the first round after performing 3 Doors Down’s When I’m Gone.

The program was a competition for artists’ offspring to win a record contract with a major label. In the same year, she and her father appeared on Fox’s Don’t Forget The Lyrics to raise money for charity. Jesse performed ‘Because of You,’ by Kelly Clarkson, but fell short of the $100,000 mark because she skipped a refrain. J

esse Money’s debut single, Wanna Go Back, launched her singing career. Her three songs are Mockingbird, Ain’t No Mountain, and Hang On I’m Comin. Jesse has also toured with her father as a background singer in his band. She enjoys singing Take Me Home Tonight and other of her father’s favorite songs with him. Jesse is best known for her cover of Janis Joplin’s Turtle Blues. She also enjoys singing with her late father Eddie’s popular version from his 2007 successful album, Wanna Go Back.
