In terms of her professional career, Miranda is a standout high school basketball player with a 66-15 career record. Similarly, after enrolling at the University of Oregon, she played there for her freshman and sophomore years. Following that, she transferred to the University of Texas at Austin after two years as the head coach of Oregon went to the Longhorns. Similarly, in her junior season of Texas Softball, she had an 18-10 record, leading her team to the super regionals.

Miranda’s senior season was cut short, so she was unable to complete the winning streak. Miranda is involved in an accident during the NCAA Division I Super Regional game against Alabama. She was hit in the face by a ball thrown by Mary Iakopo, the catcher, to second base. She collapsed and remained on the ground before being taken to the emergency room for a check-up. Fortunately, the hit did not result in serious injuries, and the victim recovered quickly and without complications.
