Cohn appeared on the Gay for Play show, where she admitted that she initially enjoyed herself after seeing the 1978 musical/comedy film Grease. She also supports Geri Jewell, a Facts of Life star who came out as a lesbian in her book I’m Walking As Straight As I Can.
To date, there has been no proof of her sexuality

Survivor of Cancer
Mindy Cohn was told she had breast cancer. Her battle with the deadly cancer began in 2012, but it was revealed to the public on October 18, 2017. She had a double mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy at the time.
When discussing her cancer experience, she stated:
“I’ve always been optimistic, but cancer spread. It kept expanding and reappearing “She told the publication. “I kept expecting the other shoe to drop, and it did. And then I’d wait for another shoe to drop, which it always did. I was outraged and frustrated. no influence over any of this. I couldn’t make it work.”
She is also a philanthropist, having established the weSpark Cancer Support Center to assist cancer sufferers.
