Mick Jagger was born Michael Phillip Jagger on July 26, 1943, in Dartford, Kent, England. He was born to a teacher father, Basil Fanshawe Jagger (1913-2006), and a hairdresser mother, Eva Ensley Mary (1913-2002), both Conservative Party members. He has a younger brother, Chris Jagger, who is a musician as well. His grandfather, David Ernest Jagger, is also a teacher. Mick is of Caucasian ancestry and possesses British nationality.
