The comedian spoke passionately about fatherhood in an interview with Fatherly. He said that he is doing everything that his father should have done with him when he was a child.
Joseph Sr. and Jr. occasionally go out to eat and hang around. He used to bring him lunch when he was still in school, complete with a meal from the restaurant of his choice.
Koy said that he hardly ever had to teach his son anything when asked if he liked the culture of the Philippines. Filipinos make up the majority of the household, thus one is obliged to absorb everything. Koy continued,
“He’s been to the Philippines for almost a month to see where his grandmother grew up. It’s kind of neat. Things I never got to do when I was a kid, my son is doing.”
We’re glad Jo is savoring every special moment with his baby.
