A car accident earlier today claimed the lives of musician Aidah Mugo and well-known DJ Mbaziira Tonny. Mbaziira Tonny and Aidah Mugo nearly lost their lives in a car accident on Masaka Road when it crashed before it went off the road. The pair appears to be seriously injured in the social media photos, and the car registered to Streamline Avenue Corporation, Reg. No. UBC 142H was completely wrecked.
Mbaziia Tonny was reportedly going with Aidah Muggo in order to perform at one of their planned engagements, according to media sources. The news of the pair’s accident was disclosed by Mbaziira Tonny’s best friend and coworker, Suuna Ben, on his Facebook page. The accident victims received initial care in an attempt to save their lives before being taken to Kitovu Hospital. This is Mbaziira Tonny’s second escape from a car accident; in February 2022, he survived with injuries in Kaliisizo but very nearly died.
