Matt Raney was born and reared in Anchorage, Alaska, the son of Marty Raney and Mollee Roestel Raney. He is the Raney family’s youngest member. Marty, his father, is a stonemason, hunter, mountain guide, and singer. Meanwhile, his mother is a stay-at-home parent.
Matthew is of Caucasian descent with Scottish ancestors. In terms of nationality, he is a native-born American. He will be in his 30s by 2020.
Matt, his sister Misty, and his father Marty are well-known for their appearances on the show Homestead Rescue. The majority of the talents Matt demonstrates in the presentation are the result of his years of experience in the remote town of Wasilla.
Matt looked up to his father as a child and gained the necessary skills for survival in Alaska’s harsh climate. This is how he became a great hunter.
Marty Raney and his wife have four children, including Matt.
Matthew is the eldest of the four. Melanee, the eldest, was born in Whitehorse, Yukon, and therefore has Canadian citizenship. Miles and Misty Raney, the second and third, were both born in Sitka, Alaska. Misty is happily married to Maciah Bilodeau, with whom she has one kid.
They are all near to one another, although they rarely appear together. Misty, his sister, is a carpenter and farmer who is frequently in charge of small-scale construction projects on the show Homestead Rescue.
