The youthful tech inventor and entrepreneur Mateo Salvatto was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1999. Salvatto has received multiple honors and recognition from esteemed institutions as a result of his dedication to using technology to create positive change. Along with these and other noteworthy honors, he has also been named the Humanitarian Innovator of the Year by the MIT Technology Review and the Best Social Innovator Worldwide by Peking University.

Salvatto is currently Asteroid Technologies’ CEO. The company is proud to list governments, banks, and real estate firms among its clientele. He also serves as the Head of Innovation at ORT Technical Schools in Buenos Aires, where he mentors and inspires the next generation of digital enthusiasts.
