Shannon Kelly, the previous athlete’s sweetheart, married him in 1990, and the couple has four beautiful children: Shayla, McKenna, Skyla, and Emma. Shannon is a land engineer and College of Texas Quarterback program alumnus.
They started dating in high school and married in 1990. Despite this, the couple divorced in February 2018 after 27 years of marriage, and she said her children were supportive throughout the process.
