On June 21, 1996, Lee married Steve. According to media reports, the two met in 1989 while working on a comedy show in Arlington, Texas. For both of them, it was love at first sight.
On July 18, 1997, their son Wynton Harvey was born after eight years of marriage. Wynton lived with Steve after the divorce after gaining custody of him in 2011. After 9 years of marriage, the couple divorced in 2005.
Wynton rose to prominence after appearing as a guest host on his father’s talk show. He has also appeared in videos on his father’s self-titled YouTube channel, such as “Wynton & Lori pack for college.”
