As mentioned above, Willie and Christina Geist share a blissful marital life. In addition, the couple has a cute high school romance story. Both of them went to George Washington Middle School, meeting in grade six, and were at first good friends. Later, they became more than good pals, and the lovely pair dated throughout their middle and high school.
After graduating from high school, Christina planned to attend the University of Virginia. But, she ended up joining Vanderbilt University. On the other hand, Willie also attended Vanderbilt. After a serious talk, the lovebirds decided to take a break from their relationship and date other people. Even after college graduation, they tried going out with other people.
However, fate had another idea. During Christmas time in 2000, while the duo was visiting their parents, the Today host dropped by Christina’s parents’ house and suggested they start dating again. Then in 2002, Kung Fu Panda 3’s voice actor proposed to Sharkey in the middle school homeroom they once shared.
Shortly after, the Geist couple tied the knot on 24 May 2003. Their wedding ceremony took place at the Holy Name of Jesus Church in Humacao, Puerto Rico. Following that, the married duo has been happily together.
