Mark Travis John Sanchez, better known as Mark Sanchez, was born on November 11th, 1986. He was born in Long Beach, California, to Nick Sanchez Sr. and Olga Sanchez. When his parents’ marriage collapsed, he was just four years old. As a result, he and his brothers, Brandon and Nick Jr., moved in with him and his family. That doesn’t rule out the possibility that their mother was involved in their upbringing. Sanchez has previously lived in Pico Rivera and Whittier. He and his father and brothers then moved to Rancho Santa Margarita, Orange County, when he was six years old. Nick Jr. and Brandon are older than him because he is the lastborn. Surprisingly, by the time he entered eighth grade, he had developed an interest in football. The only thing that was still up in the air was the position he wanted to play once he arrived on the field. Eventually, he had to settle for quarterback.
All three brothers and their father played collegiate football at some time in their lives. Nick Sr., Nick Jr., and Brandon played for East Los Angeles College, Yale University, and DePauw University, respectively, while Mark was at Southern University of California. Unlike Mark, who kept doing what he was doing, his father enlisted in the US Army as a sergeant. Brandon is a mortgage broker, while his brother Nick is a corporate attorney who studied law at USC Law School.
