This happened in the year 2017. Mark Geragos was accused of plotting Dr. Luke’s death after he turned to Twitter to face a sexual assault involving music sensation Lady Gaga.
In 2014, while Mark was representing pop sensation Kesha Sebert in a heated debate with Dr. Luke, the lawyer took control of his Twitter account and sent a link to an article stating that Lady Gaga was sexually raped as a child.
One of Mark’s 48000 followers who responded to his tweet was “Lukasz,” which is said to be Dr. Luke’s first name.

Mark then reacted with a “#Bingo!” and this sparked a new round of debate.
Dr. Luke filed a defamation suit in the New York Supreme Court as a result of the incident. Geragos and his business filed a number of provocative arguments for the dismissal of the defamation charges in response to the case.
