Lynn Collins, born on May 16, 1977, in Houston, Texas, had a deeply religious upbringing in a Southern Baptist family. She later explored various religious beliefs and considers herself a spiritually inclined person.
Collins completed her education at the Singapore American School and Klein High School in Texas. She further pursued her passion for the arts by earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Drama Division at Juilliard School.
