Lisa began performing when she was quite young. She received the chance to be cast in her first-ever child artist part in the pilot episode of the television series “Two Boys.” She appeared in a few films with her husband Patrick Swayze after relocating to Los Angeles.
Killer (1998), Last Dance (2003), Beat Angel (2004), and others are some of the films in which the duo has appeared. She was active in scriptwriting, filmmaking, and directing in addition to acting. Similarly, the actress made a point of appearing on Broadway whenever the occasion arose.
‘Love Letter,’ ‘Will Rogers Follies,’ ‘The Brick and the Rose,’ and a few others are some of the Broadway projects on which she has worked. Her versatility in acting and presentation of her roles has earned her praise from both her audience and reviewers.
Niemi also works as a screenwriter, filmmaker, and film director. She is also an author, having produced two beautifully written memoirs named “The Time of My Life” and “Worth Fighting For.”
